Holy crap! This game rocks! Real simple people, MK vs DCU. That means Superman vs. Lex Luthor, Batman vs. the joker and so on. This game does not disappoint, it uses a very polished Unreal engine 3 which looks amazing in 1080p, So thats what the UE3 is supposed to look like... ohhhh. lol. Anyway I highly recommend this game, its toned down a bit from past mortal kombats,(PG-13) no more heart ripping, head squishing, gut ripping fatalities but it makes up for it in other ways. That doesn't mean that the finishers aren't cool, just less bloody.
The combo system is great, old school MK feel and very balanced so you won't get owned immediately by some dude that knows every 20 hit combo in the book lol. It's more about the special moves and linking them for max damage, not just number of hits.
They added some new gameplay aspects too, free fall fighting(awesome), Klose kombat(brutal), and test your might is back in the form of smashing through walls(also awesome).
IMO the DC characters kick way more ass than the MK characters, I mean come on, they don't call him "Superman" for no reason! Yep Supes, Flash, Batman and Lantern pwn hardcore. The joker is fun too, everytime he wins he walks over to his opponent and stomps they're crotch, then laughs.
So if you have an Xbox 360 or PS3 GET THIS GAME!!!
