I hate pc's real frucking bad well i crashed my main pc hopefully i can find a win xp disc h.e. edition so i can b back up and running i am loading 98 right now until then i know its obsalite or some shit like that but owell its better then nothing man this sucks atleast i have my laptop but man i hate P fing C's

i did install bittorrent and what do you know now my pc crashed so i am reinstalling windows xp 2day a buddy has a disc and i have a legit key that is my own so im all good but i cant wait to get a new pc!

subosible when i ran an anti virus program it stated that there was an adawre trojan or virus of some type so i ran adaware beta and adaware regular and it still didnt get rid of it and an antivirus program and still nothing and i kept getting pop-ups so yah no more bittorrent from now on i will get my shit from buddys that dealt with that shit

Always run antivirus in "safe" mode if you are trying to remove a virus. Most virus attach themselves to windows and will be considered in use in normal windows mode.

Download the latest free version of AVG install it...then reboot to safe mode (F8 while booting) and run the program. Download here

All those "free" file sharing things are virus laden. Hackers, malicious code, and the government. Nothing is free, at least not completely. You either pay for the music/movies or whatever you want... or you pay in tech support for when the "free" program you downloaded contains a virus, and bombs your PC. Not to mention aggravation cost.

Its best to stay away from those places, but if you must, use a pc that you don't care about and is completely separate from others on your network. Give it a big hard drive and dump all your non-digitally signed software on it. Scan everything that goes on to, and off from it, frequently.

That way your gamer PC will always be safe, and you'll never miss a frag

That's some good advice. I don't even pull email with my gamer, I have photshop and dreamweaver on it...that's about it. I use a POS dell I picked up from my company that had a bad harddrive to pull anything that might be problematic. I also use NO filesharing programs...they are heartache waiting to happen.

I still use limewire,but don't share any files.I also run peerguardian while running lime wire.My av has picked up every infected file so far.(knocks on wood) Spybot has taken care of the rest.I use system mechanic to clean out the cluter that builds up.
