I've always had amd but intel has won me over. This isn't a combo deal but good price on the processor.

        Sorry to hear that...

Unless the AMD quads perform some sort of miracle Intel will continue to dominate AMD. Of course I'm a Intel fanboy... (with benchmarks in my back pocket).

But...here's a whole buttload of AMD 6000+ combos...

*EDIT* disregard..I thought you were in the states.

Problem is most of our vendors do not ship to Canada. I also don't like most bundles or combos because they use that tactic to get rid of inferior products. I would recommend doing some research and finding a recommended board for the 6000+ and then look for a good deal on one.

            <whisper> buy Intel </whisper>

Juggs go to www.tigerdirect.com and click on mobo+cpu's on the left. they got some good deals right now on all sorts of combos.

He's Canadian Eye, I don't think tiger direct will ship up there.

you know i don't understand that, wtf Canadian dollars are like 2 cents more than ours, aren't the credit card companies supposed to figure that stuff out. I really dislike the thought of gamers missing out on good deals simply because of exchange rates lol.

You have to go through some real hassles to ship to our northern friends.Min has the lowdown on that. It's probably even worse as the borders tighten up.

Canada is smart, they want Canadians to purchase goods from Canada only, otherwise you pay import fees on top of taxes and then they hold the stuff for a couple weeks in customs..then they unwrap it and kick it around the floor for a while until they get enough pc parts to build a new rig. Then they build a new rig and email you on it telling you your parts are gonna be late.

Yeah..it's best if Canadians buy from Canadian sources.

There's a lot to be said for loyalty but man, Intel's beating the pants off AMD.
