I kinda blew it this time, and I fully uninstalled DirectX in an attempt to clean install it. Now, It wont install. I get the error "An internal system error occurred. Please refer to DXError.log and DirectX.log." as I attempt to install it again.
I can't find those two logs anywhere, and I'm 100% not sure what to do.

    From the command prompt run
    sfc /scannow
    check you have netframework installed
    then try the install again

Well, i guess you learned not to do that again huh? lol. You don't really ever have to clean install directx, applications will sense the version and update/not update as necessary.

What version of windows? If you say Vista then your SOL. WinXP pro or Win 7 only plz

If all else fails back up your data and format your HD then fresh install windows and all your apps. It's good to do that at least once a year IMO.
