Can I assume that is a Gigabyte Aorus RTX 2080?

A little overkill for playing a 15 year old game, but it looks like a killer rig!

Hope to see you playing again soon!

Yeah, a Gigabyte Aorus 28080, that's going back for a refund. My evga 1080ti is still faster and Ray Tracing really isn't that impressive at this point to justify an $800 pricetag.

I'm going to try an get into a couple games this weekend.

Cool man! I mostly only get to play on the weekends now since i don't get off of work until 11pm and everyone here is gone by then. I might step in for a map or 2 here and there if work is dead during the week.

I've got the Thermaltake Water 2.0 in my gaming rig. Been working silently and flawlessly for several years now. I think you made a great choice there.

The only component you used that I probably would have done differently is the PSU. I like the Corsair AX series for their voltage stability and the fact that I have had no problems with any of them that I've used, just a personal preference through. EVGA makes good stuff too. I have an AX 760 in my current PC and it runs quiet and cool. Same 10 year warranty that EVGA offers and the new AX1000 is Titanium certified (oooooohhhhh.......Titanium!!).

I've got a 1600 G2 I need to RMA. The computer shuts off any time the GPU gets any 3D load. So a 10 year warranty is great.
