That's a good one, had a couple a few weeks ago.

If you like bourbon barrel stouts here are a few to look for:

I finally had #1 on this list two months ago - Blues knows this one well.

Yeah Non...And I'm jealous as hell too. Founders Breakfast Stout is damned good but the KBS is sublime from every account I've heard. New Holland is another decent Michigan micro. If you find any of their Dragons Milk Reserve offerings grab them fast. Also their Oatmeal Stout (dubbed "The Poet").

This beer sold out in 2 days. I'd have bought more if they didn't charge an arm and a leg.

There is a brew pub down the street from me that makes a bourbon barrel aged stout as a special, but they never have it as it's a small batch brew.

I saw this from New Holland and they had me a at "bourbon barrel..."

If you were closer to Michigan you would see it anytime in the stores. It's pretty much everywhere. I've had a couple of Stone Brewery's stouts and really enjoyed them. I heard they released a Bitter Chocolate Oakmeal Stout which is aged in oak bourbon barrels. If I see it in the store......mine!
