unable to validate my cd key for ut??!!?

Hey guys i was playing today and all of the sudden it told me i have an invalid key then after trying to log onto a few servers each one told me i was using somebody elses cd key. I have my copy of ut2k4 that i have played with forever. and today i have problems when im off work how gay!! .I emailed atari tech support but they say it will be 4 days at least till they reply. anyone got any suggestions?I reinstalled a couple of weeks ago. I keep all my cd keys on my comp on spare drive maybe someone got a hold of them hmm

I know there are a number of websites out there that will steal your key when you visit. Then the cheaters use it to generate a new guid. Atari should help you here, but it may take time. Assraker may know of another way...he's pretty smert on this kinda stuff.

I try to not visit many UT related sites that are not ones I recognize from years back.

Thx for always helping me....I did a system restore and that worked fyi incase anyone else runs into this problem. I do have my own copy of ut2k4.
I dl a ut2k4 keygen and a ut2k4 reg fix proggie after it woudn't let me on but that didnt work.It was a miracle that the restore worked. they told me it would be 4 days up to 2 weeks for a response i believe so they forced me to hack their proggie. real nice customer service they got. I dont hack software i dont have the ability for that. I just mean i dl cracks and stuff for software but anyways i do have my own copy i bought and paid for.

I wasn't accusing you of hacking..lol. what I was trying to get across is that the sites that offer key gens and stuff like that sometimes have hidden scripts in thier sites to steal your cd key from your registry. Just be careful where you go, as the botters and such get thier guid's banned they have to find new valid cd keys somewhere. What better place than from innocent players like you?

I know you werent accusing me bro :-D . I was just sorta i know doing what i usually do......TALKING TO MUCH :lol: . Hey man, I alos wanted to say good game the other night man you kicked ass all night it was awsome im glad you were usually on my team. I guess i enjoy watching people and how they play and i compliment them. Hmm i'm to nice heheh anyways man no worries im laid back kinda guy and easy to get along with,so see you in game and we can kick each others ass .
