TAM server crashing

Your server has been crashing every couple of minutes. Apperantly there is an exploit going around. I found a fix here...

Posted this fix on the UT2004 mailing list (Win32 only), though I guess there aren't many people still on that list:

That's tested and works, feel free to pass the link on to other UT2004 admins, though please don't have it posted on news sites.

I wonder if this is why the 1v1 had several dozen bots in it? Does the exploit afford the intruder any console access? Or does it just crash the server?

Nope, the patch is server side, you need to do nothing at all.
