Not sure what the lag is all about on our tam server but it's starting to really suck!! Pretty bad when a 40 ping looks like crap.Maybe the ut3 server needs ta go!

I don't think it's on the box, the cpu usage is still in the green. It could be a networking issue at the colo though, I'd give it a little time and see if it doesn't iron itself out.

Try pinging the server in the command prompt

ping 72.249.10.40 -n 100

That will ping it 100 times and see if your ping is consistent. It sounds like a packet loss issue. I'm assuming that it's on the old Colo. I pinged it and got between 42 and 59ms (average 45ms).

I played around on a few of the servers. Aside from the BD assault server needing to be restarted (took care of it), I didn't see any issues.

Bot was kicking my butt on the DM/TAM servers :\

I've noticed the lag spikes from time to time but never found a reason for it. It seems like it started a couple of weeks ago, but I didn't feel anything for the few matches I played last night.

I'll keep my eyes peeled and maybe between Assraker, Mr. Grendal and myself we can pin it down.

I only have limited access to the colo btw, but if I see anything abnormal I'll try and gather as much info as I can.

I'll look into it. It may take me a few days to pinpoint any issues (if the issue is machine side), for I'll do some logging.

Didn't notice it last night but only played a couple maps.It has been every night,was specking Lunch 1 night and he looked like a UT Vibrator.lol Not sure if that was something on his end or what,he was pissed.The delayed weapon firing is what I mostly notice,it really helps out raising my suicide rate.lol
