Ammo changes on Solitude and Refuge.

Would it possible to change the ammo levels on the 2 newer servers back to the previous levels please? Nerfing the goo and link is making the game too restrictive IMO.

My suggestions:

Assault: 200/6
Bio: 20
Mini: 75-100
Link: 100
Flak : 12
Rockets: 12
Shock: 26
Lightning: 12

Thoughts anyone?

I agree with Zen but with one exception...I would like 60 Bio myself, it made me think my keybinds were all FUBAR due to the new limits....herm....

I guess it depends on your style of play. Zen is good with hitscan so he wants more ammo for those weaps (standard is 20 shock and 10 LG). I have a slight preference for blunt objects so I would probably like at least 30 rockets per round (although I do like to use shock when I can't get within a few feet).

I would say the standard ammo levels are good.

We used to have 20 shock ammo in Sanctuary, that version, TAM 2.57 consumed 3 ammo per combo. So 20 shock would give you 6 combos + 2 shots or 7 total combos.

TAM 3.187 consumes 4 ammo per combo, so in order to have the same amount of combos, 6 combos + 2 shots or 7 total, any server running TAM 3.187 *should* have 26 shock ammo.

I'm all for limiting ammo to prevent over-spamming, the trick is to find that balance.

I didn't just lower link and bio, I raised LG and shock. Hoping more people would use theses weapons so the server would have less spam.

To be honest it has made me use the LG and Shock more and it has helped with my hit scan.

Quick head count, 5 people for changing ammo levels back to previous, 2 people against.

Cheez had mentioned something about it in TS, sounded like he wasn't happy with the new ammo counts, but don't quote me.
Also I didn't count Q because he wants 200 bio, I don't think that counts as "previous ammo levels" lol.
