First of all, if any of my members disrespected Minion or any community like this, no matter if they are senior or new members I'd remove them from SoL.
Second, I'd forgotten why I banned him a couple of years ago. So I have to say thanks for reminding me.
For whatever reason he decided to come on the server and remind everyone. Keep in mind the server was full. First by asking
Ilya "Belta do you like dick"
Belta "I guess I do, because I keep chasing and killing you"
Ilya "ew, your a pervert"
Unforgiven "Ilya your a bitch" then on mic "shut up"
Ilya "remember when I called you a faggot?"
Ilya "it was funny"
Ilya "why the hell is htm pinging 78 and sol pinging 100"
At this point he felt the community needed to be insulted.
Ilya "must be because sol is allergic to straight people"
Ilya "cause they're gay"
Ilya "LOL"
The community had several thing to say well this was going on.
Ilya "i think belta is hacking my ping"
Ilya "making my internet bad"
Community "stop talking shit bro"
Ilya "fuck you bro"
Ilya "I'm not you bro, bro"
When he joined HTM I was concerned because I couldn't remember why I banned him. So at the time I gave him the benefit of the doubt and allowed him back on our server. Mainly because I respect minion and assumed he had matured, I guess I was wrong.
Please keep in mind our members when wearing our tag or not are a refection of our community for people that don't know better. I had to explain to my community that he was not.

First of all, if this is indeed what took place I would like to personally apologize to Belta and the SOL community.
Secondly I expect ilya to provide a public apology to SOL as this is not what I consider an example of the integrity that HTM has always been known for.
This is definitely not how HTM members should represent our clan, let alone showing such a display in a server of a fellow clan that I consider to be another well respected UT community.
I and others have worked very hard over the last 13 years to keep the reputation of HTM as respectable as possible. Although I have spent many evenings talking with ilya on TS and consider him a friend I cannot allow this to pass unaccounted for.
This issue will be discussed internally and once we hear ilya's side of the story we will move forward.

Is this a word-for-word transcript of the conversation? To be fair, my first and only encounter with you wasn't exactly a shining example of inter-clan comradery. You acted like a complete douch actually, but you apologized and since everyone else let it go, so did I. But shit talk is just shit talk and by God we do a lot of it on our servers...I do a TON of it. I know that there are some servers where foul language isn't allowed, but is the SOL server that way as well? It's your server and you can do as you please. To be forthright, I'm not Ilya's biggest fan...I think he's pretty much an arrogant little asshole but to be honest, I don't see anything beyond the shit talk that we do ourselves. Don't see the need to do anything clan-wise for just this. My opinion only of courseI'm not gay........but $20 bucks is $20 bucks!

Foo, we actually have server rules as well. Over the years we have become more tolerant of smack talking since the UT community seems to shrink more and more every year.
Obviously there is some bad blood between ilya and Belta that proceeds ilya joining HTM. The conversation that transpired in the SOL server was probably old feelings that surfaced more than likely with the help of alcohol. That in itself is not my business. However the fact that ilya wore a tag that represents all of us in HTM at the time is my concern.
I discussed this last night with ilya and he has made a public apology. In my opinion that is is tough thing to do and I think it shows maturity and integrity.
You know, for the most part we are just a bunch of laid back old guys blowing off the stress of the day playing UT. I do enjoy your rants from time to time because they make me laugh. Sometimes however you too can get a little carried away with language that in my opinion crosses a line that makes me uncomfortable. But, that can be a discussion for another place and time.
As far as I'm concerned this deal is over with, ilya has done his part and has been informed as to what is expected of HTM members and I don't expect this to be an issue in the future.
Now, I cannot speak for SOL. If they choose to keep ilya banned that is their decision to make. If they post all over the internet that HTM is the worst clan in the world, that too is their decision to make. If their servers all crash shortly afterwards, well I know nothing about that...
J/K Belta...

Originally posted by ilyaWanted to apologize to Belta and the SOL clan. Said some pretty stupid stuff and I'm sure offended some folks over there. My apologies to all the guys and gals of SOL and their community.
Politics, Religious, or other argumentative subjects are discouraged, but an emphasis was put on absolutely no comments, references, or otherwise, about race, sexuality, and sexist comments, either in chat or TS. It's pretty simple to understand.
Now, we all have momentary lapses in reason, but some is inexcusable. Ilya, I like ya man, but if I'd heard any of that nonsense I'd be offended along with everyone else, and I've heard it all. It's simply about respect and representation.
In [NBK] we had those who spoke without thinking about whose tag they were wearing, and ended getting our entire clan banned from some COD4 (I think) servers. Eventually the ban was lifted and the person responsible was no longer welcome in the clan.
This isn't meant to be a lecture, though it ended up being one. We're among some of the last players of UT and still going pretty strong. I'd hate to see someone either trying to be funny or outright rude ruining what's left.
You're young and often funny, but whether you actually have an issue with Belta or not, those are not comments you make on his server, especially given they do have gay players that are extremely polite and did not need to see or hear any of that kind of talk, so please just keep those comments to yourself. Humor is one thing we all understand can misfire, but to me, your comments look intentionally rude rather than funny. We like funny. We no like rude.
