HTM logos preview

  • HTM logos preview

    Small ones are for ESC menu and top of the playing screen icons. The bigger ones are for the scoreboard shield.

    This pic simplifies picking the right one when testing. Each pic has a name on the bottom for the ini edit.

    For example you would put HTM_Logos_02.HTM1 for the first texture.

    I have the smaller ones installed already. I played with the larger ones on the scoreboard shield but it seemed to clash with the ending screen. I'll now have to add the latest 3spn when I get time and experiment with them again.

        I've tried a number of these "shield" logos and it appears they all clash with the smaller "TAM" shield. I cannot find a way to remove this small shield, an I missing something? I will play with the logos in PS and see if I can make them work without clashing.

            1-2 are "only" for ESC menu and icons above the screen well playing.

            3-9 Are "only" scoreboard shields.

              If there are any photoshop users here, these are the specs.

              Scoreboard must be a 512x512 transparent DDS or TGA file.
              ESC menu/icons must be a 256x256 transparent. DDS or TGA files, "white only".

              DDS is more common in UT, but TGA works.

              To make a DDS files you need this plug-in https://developer.nvidia.com/nvidia-...dobe-photoshop

              Once you make it I'll update logo pack for you, if necessary.

                Thanks Belta, I'm familiar with PS and will play around with the logos when I get some free time. I did install the DDS plugin for PS you recommended, it's quite nice. It actually alleviated an issue I've been having with alpha channels when saving to TGA file types.

                  3SPN settings for the shield and flag.
                  ShieldTextureName=packagename.texture or packagename.group.texture 512x512 Use Transparent image and probably keep width of visible image at max of 384.
                  FlagTextureName=packagename.texture or packagename.group.texture Not sure what these dimensions are but I know it is small.
                  ShowServerName=False This is the Server Name in text. Leave it Off.
                  FlagTextureEnabled=False
                  FlagTextureShowAcronym=False

                          I loaded the Solitude logo from Kat, see thumbnail.

                          I like this design, but if the color could be a little deeper blue I would like it better.

                          If anyone else has comments please let me know. All the community donated shield logos will be put up for a member vote to decide the winner eventually.
