The reason I asked is because I was at one of my cancer doctors today for a chemo shot. I told him that i had a good friend who is having problems. I told him what you said on this post and he that there was not enough info to make a definite diagnosis and he said "I know that you are worried about your friend and all I can say is that more will be known when the type and aggressiveness of his cancer is known through a biopsy. Don't worry as so far this is not a death warrant and many of my patients have made a full recovery with chemo treatments." I specifically asked about your rib (And we had know idea where you are talking about on you ribs) I was worried it would have to be surgically removed, and he said that would not be the case that the chemo treatments or radiation treatments would eventually ease the pain and the rib should heal. But it will take a while. But then again he really can't know or guess. All I know is what he said makes me feel a lot better about your situation. I hope it doesn't add more worry to you. I appreciate that, Bob. What my initial diagnoses is, is Non Small Cell Adenocarcinoma. The primary is in the upper lobe of my right lung.

Thanks for sharing that OT and you are right the diagnosis may change. Sorry but your condition had me really worried as my Mother had cancer which broke two ribs in her back, spread to her backbone, lungs and lymph node system. It was horrible for her and that was 40 years ago. Things have changed a lot since then thank God.
