Actually i should have updated that part.... I did a few other tracerts to Chicago for instance and it DID NOT go through San Jose. I guess it was just the paranoid side of the showing through.

LunchMeat also did a tracert from Denver to Dallas and he too was redirected through San Jose....

Routes change constantly, you could be blacklisted or maybe the "normal" route was too busy and you got sent elsewhere. I usually say a prayer to the router gods to keep my ping low hehehe. Maybe if you asked doggy dog he could sacrifice the goat to them lol.

Funny thing is I'll ping 88 to San Jose! Then 108 to dallas 'cept HTM~1v1~Dallas which i also ping 88.

Now i cant even do tracert's, they blocked me. I can't ping anything past my public ip address.

                      Hurry up Fios!

Ok, so I broke down and called Qwest dsl (my former provider), they said they would only be able to hook me up with 3meg. No problem, thats what I had before. Went through the whole process and when the guy was getting an authorization code, he said that "I had an issue with my credit and two names are reported at my address". WTF?

So, I started to lose it, I have a business account with them that costs close to 3bills a month... Calmed down a little and decided to call back today.

Turns out it was due to the service that I have for credit watch "Life Lock". Lol, glad to see it works. Unfortunately, Qwest can't figure out what my speed should be today because of "glitches in my zip code and will call me back tomorrow".

Hmm, is this going from bad to worse? Guess time will tell.
