I tried a Razer but didn't like it as much as the MX518 I was using that crapped out on me. I tried the Logitech G9 and was hooked. I've gone through 2 of those and have 3 more on my shelf as backups.

The Logitech G300S looks to be a good alternative to the MX518 and is ambidextrous for you lefties. $30 on Amazon.

5-What is your current mouse dpi setting and ingame sensitivity? 450 and 3.0 in game. I lift my mouse a lot.

Blues I probably lift mine more than you do. I can just barely do a 360 from one end of my 8x11 mouse pad to the other.

Doubt it. I don't use a mousepad because I haven't found one big enough that I like. I use my desktop (about a 15"x15" area). The G9 tracks OK on the woodgrain but I've worn some of it off the formica top!

Actually Non I finally found one that solves two problems. It's large and thin enough, and it's self adhesive so it sticks pretty much permanently to the desktop and covers up the worn spot from not using a mousepad all these years.
